Hi Everyone,

Just curious - if you were going to enter an open exhibition with a limit of two pieces, do you think it is important to do a "set" of two like photos framed alike (i.e., two iris photos, two flower macros, two landscapes) or do you think you its perfectly fine to enter two completely different ones (i.e., one landscape, one stillife of fruit, with completely different frames and sizes)?

Just a general question - I don't have any particular photos in mind.

Thanks. bj

Although I haven't done this, I think if it were me I'd pick my two best, non-similar, images to display. This would show my diversity to some degree and hopefully get me a little more exposure. If you show to similar images it may carry the idea that you only photograph that one subject (whether by choice or lack of versitility). Now if the exposure is not your main purpose then I can see reasons for going with similar images. Just my $0.02 though, everyone will have their opinion.

I agree with allgoodpics, it will be hard enough showing your diversity by the 2 image limit so do what you can to help show your range of expertise. Good luck.
