Took with 50mm f/1.8 and only run one round of usm at 18-40-0.

| To my eye it is a bit over sharpened, but that doesn't bother me very much. There are other issues with the photo which take my attention off the sharpening: Focus (or to be more precise very very shallow DOF) and over saturation of the flower petals that are blurred by shallow DOF. |

WOW..thats one bright color!It doesnt look oversharpened to me.

I think the overshaprness only enhances the DoF problems. The third and fourth from the right are in focus (actually really only the third) and the sharpness draws your attention to the first and second, particularly the second, which are not in focus.
