| My vote is for page and I do suppose I wouldn't mind voting to let a Utah boy get in on it - as long as he brings Hacker-Pschorre Weisse! (I'll provide the lemon) :-) |

Apparently hurricane Emily is going to be over Arizona this weekend and will cause heavy storms all over the place. Summer storms in Flagstaff come with a lot of lightening and it's not wise to be walking through stands of tall ponderosa pines during one.
I'm going to consider some alternate outing ideas for Saturday but will hold off on making any decisions until tomorrow when we have a better idea of what the weather will do. I'd hate to drive all the way up to Flag only to sit in the car during heavy storms.
If nothing else, storm party at my house!

Sorry Barbra, I never canceled it but I probably worded that badly and should have posted that it was still on when we made the decision yesterday.

Did anyone get some photos of the storm rolling in over the San Tan Mountains last night? I Saw someone shooting it off Higley Rd just after 5pm. I wished I had my camera with me. Awesome view of it from that road.
I'd like to join up on the next trip. |
