Im wondering if there would be any interest in these types of photo simplified photoshop turorals. This is of course a very simple lesson that beginners could benefit from without having to thumb thru a book yet still get an overview that would help in basic image manipulation.

Its a self contained video highly compressed with its own player so people wouldnt have to download codecs, let me know, Its fun creating these types of tutorals and if people would benefit from them Ill make them in my spare time. //600rr.org/600rr/levels_colors.exe

Those are good, though I haven't used "sharpen" in a VERY long time!

Do more - and if you explain the program you're using, maybe I'll do some as well. I like them.

well I wasnt really talking about a whole series of sharpning videos but rather "these types" of simplified minute or two video based tutorals.

Yes, I understand. Do you really use sharpen though? Or Unsharp mask? I know sharpen is easy for beginners, but I'm just curious.

Anyways yes, do the series for sure.

I did not have any sound. Is there any sound that goes with the videO?

where its needed I use it, expecially in my actions when Im uploading hindreds of images to my online sales site, it helps with web presentation and the bulk customer base I have likes them sharp, sharp to them means good, doesnt necessarly mean that to me but the zombified general public seems to like sharp

PS no sound on that sample. just a quick video to relay the method for these types of learning tools... For example, I read all the time here at DPC people havnt a clue what a layer is, these types of videos could show them where the layers window is located , how to show and hide a a layer, set its opacity, create masks etc... down and dirty easy to remember fundemental lessons.

Why the .exe if it's a video? Sorry, but I've learned better than to download executable files from unknown sources. Is there a way you could make it a .wmv or .avi?

it has its own player built in because it uses a codec not native to windows. its a highly compressed video reduced about 70% in size and crystal clear unlike wmv or divix format. download it and scan it, if your uncomfortable after a virus can delete it
