Sigma 500mm f/4.5 EX DG HSM
Oh.. and check out the price.. that's only about $5500 Canadian :)

Closer to $6200 I would think. 1 pound is worth more than double 1 Canadian dollar. What's another $700 when you're spending that much anyway? ;o)

I'd rather have the 400mm f2.8 L IS from Canon for about $6500 :)
it was 400mm @ f2.8 or 500mm @ f4

doesn't exist... it's a 4.0
The sigma 800mm EX 5.6 is to die for... or the 300-800mm EX!

Trouble is, you have to stand such a long way away to get a decent shot, though. And you throw away most sense of perspective.

When converting from GBP to USD in terms of digital, you'd be better off using a 1:1 ratio. Everything is so much more expensive here, it's ridiculous!
