Well, if you trace the entymology (im sure I misspelled that) of "Thor" you will find that it is Greek for "Photgraphorus Weddingiscus"

Like most, I had no intention of ever taking a wedding photograph. Then a friend (a coworker at the paper which I freelance photographer for) asked me. I declined three times, each time stating I was not a wedding photographer. One the forth time I relented and then stated how I would do it. Should she decline my terms she would need to find someone else. (Pretty damned arrogant for an amature, eh?)

The ball has been rolling since then. This last wedding I did (two weekends ago) was for a "punk couple I know (multiple piercings, tatts all over). They went really formal. It was a rather felliniesque experience. Since that night I have had two calls to do more weddings.

Then there's the matter of the promo shots for the small record label...

Crap, this might well turn into a living yet.

No one has to be a wedding photographer if they don't want to be one.

Hope you make enough money to pay for the new equipment. Good Luck!
