what do you think? It could redefine "still life" photography and makes all of us think of how we can capture movement in a still photo shot. I think it sounds like a bloddy good challenge. Dare to take it up?

Motion can be portrayed in many different ways. Hopefully it won't turn into a panning challenge.

It is a good idea for a challenge. I believe it's been done before however there's always a time to do it again.

yup, i would expect love-it-hate-it submissions from members, and of course, the creative ones would have their chance to stand out and shine on this one. Its easy to just shoot a photo of a parked car and say "stopped motion", but those who wish for >6 scores and votes would probably have to be produce a photo that REALLY give the viewer a sense of MOTION, as in, wow, it looks as if its moving. I cant wait to view all the submissions should this be the next challenge.

I think the idea was to show movement with a 'still' object.

brings back memories of the extreme action challenge... but i think its a good and fun topic/technique to get down if the challenge gets worded correctly.

I think it's "easy" to taka a picture of something in motion, but to take a picture thats transmits a motion feeling is something else.
