I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the SmartDisk FlashTrax.
SmartDisk FlashTrax
Being able to view the photos is the least of my concerns (I shoot RAW almost all the time so seeing the pics isn't a big deal). Reliability, battery life, and price are far more important to me.
Feel free to chime in if you've had a good experience with other devices. |

I have had experience with the X-Drive II, has a 40GB hard drive in it. All you do is stick the memory card in, press the copy button. There is no image display. It last for about 2 hours of continual use.

I have a friend that has one and he likes it very much. It is pretty big though. Clam shell design helps to save some space. It's the cheapest of the digital wallets with a screen.

I have one. Love it - displays Raw also, at least for my 300. Battery life fine so far, but I tend not to use the screen to view. I have the regular rather than the XT version - didn't need all the bells and whistles. So far reliable....

I have the Flashtrax and LOVE it !!~
I've not had trouble YET, with it. I was told when i bought it to reverse the battery when i'm not using it as there is a slight drain while its off... so I do that and it stays charged..
