I must admit, I was particularly pleased by my photo. Felt pretty sure it was a 6.0+ shot in a tough challenge subject. But I was at 5.66 a couple of hours ago, went up to 5.75, and now sit with 5.4 after 40 votes. Hoping that the later voters see what I see in the image!!

In my short time of entering photos in the competitions, I always notice a rise in my score from the voters that come along just before the final ones. |

I too am dissapointed with the lack of idea's. The photoshop skills of many dpc users is not in question, however, some users need to learn when enough editing is enough. |

Am I correct that you're setting up your own editing rules on this challenge? As I recall, it was 'advanced' editing in this challenge and not 'basic'. You might not like it, but advanced editing means advanced editing as far as DCP allows us to go.

Not doing too bad so far especially for my first entry but voting still has a long way to go, as long as I make the top 100 out of the 151, I'll be happy! I agree about the photoshopinging in this one, not too many creative photos but ALOT of creative editing!

Who said anything about my own rules. I said "lack of idea's". Learn when enough is enough. And I DO like it, for the record. Sorry if I touched a nerve but alot of images are over processed as are some of my past entries. just my honest opinion, also I have not commented on any of the images yet.

Sorry justinbrook, English not being my native language, makes me jump to conclusions too fast sometimes. No hard feelings I hope?

I didn't want to enter my image but when this is over you will understand why I did...I would be very happy with a 5 so I can't complain.

Just because Advanced Editing is allowed, I don't always think that it is a good idea to always do it. Sometimes your picture is fine without it. |

I thought there were quite a few in the fantasy challenge that were post-productioned to death, but then again I have been guilty of this myself. |

Yes, I hear you! There is virtually no editing but the basics in my picture, and I'm getting a bit of the same feedback... |
