Is the photoshop Lense Flare ok to use in advance editing challenges? I'm not exactly sure what qualifies as a "major element".

thanks.

Coming from the graphic editing community (I was pretty into 3D graphics for a while, but it ended up taking too much time) the lens flare filter in photoshop is very very cliche and over used. Anyone who has used photoshop knows its look. Even if it were allowed, I would suggest against it because of the negativity it would bring with it.

That probably would be considered a major element ... if it wasn't going to make a significant change to your photo, you wouldn't be wanting to add it in the first place.

You are probably right. It would make a big difference in the image. Thanks.
