I've watched probably 5-6 episodes of Grey's Anatomy. A really fun and well produced show. I'm liking it alot! I don't think you need to worry about keeping your job. A really good show and I'm thinkin many seasons to come :) Hopefully!

Actually it can take more grey matter, and provide more enjoyment, than about anything else on TV. But you have to apply a little of your own grey matter to get something out of it. More to it than just the pretty scenery. Perhaps you will learn to appreciate it as you grow older and become an adult.

It wasn't my intent to insult the sport or its followers, if that's how it may have sounded. It's just not something that I have considered to require intense concentration and/or thought to watch. Of course, any sport takes a certain amount of understanding in order to appreciate - and perhaps I just haven't grown the interest level there to make it stimulating to me. I apologize if my first post came off the wrong way.

And, not to say that I have no further to go (because I certainly do), I'd like to consider myself an adult as is.

Well well, aren't some of us just oh so high-brow.
:-P

For me nothing beats a twelve pack of beer and a few episodes of "Americas Funniest Home Videos."

Greys Anatomey bump for the night shift artists.

Thanks in advance.

Well, we watched 2 or 3 weeks of it in a row...and it's apparently never going to be on again. Instead, tonight, they showed a re-run of some other show. I checked the website and it said "Next Showtime: The next showtime has not been scheduled."

That's lame...but I can bet that I'm not going to be sitting infront of my tv waiting for it next week. Just when a good show comes out, they go and screw with the viewers...that's a shame.

They've already run all the way through the first season. It's just on summer repeat now.

Be patient grasshopper, "sweeps" season will be here before you know it, and "Greys Anatomy" will have that new smell again.

Maybe we'll give it a try--I don't watch anything now that Enterprise and NYPD Blue are not on the air. :(

The last hospital/medical show we watched was St. Elsewhere. If it's as good as that, count us in!

Dude, I know what you mean about Enterprise. I absolutely love every one of the Star Trek episodics. I am NOT a trekke, but I just love the story line and the effects.

What about the new Battlestar Galactica, pretty cool show.

Ah, I love Grey's Anatomy.

I got hooked the first time the commercial with "Such Great Heights" came on.

I used to watch the original a long time ago and I liked it then. I recorded the new series pilot but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I did watch the first 5-10 minutes of it and it looked very good. The key is whether both me and my wife like it. In all the years we've been married -- 20 now -- we usually watch a weekly show together (started with Hill Street Blues, then St. Elsewhere, NYPD Blue, and Star Trek TNG, Deep Space 9, Voyager, Enterprise), and right now we have nothing.

I have a DVR now, and I've been recording movies to watch when we have a chance (much better than tapes--I could never keep track of what was on reusable tapes), but I can also catch a few shows like this one for us to try.

Sounds like a fun job you have anyway! I wish your show good luck.

I believe the show is superbly written, im sure credit is partially deserved by the medical advisors. Right now, I'm calling Grey's Anatomy the 2nd best show on TV. (Deadwood being the best)

Writing for a show like Grey's is one of those quarter-dream jobs for someone like me, but, given the chance, I'd almost feel a little intimidated by what I'd have to live up to.

Even though I'm finding myself dissatisfied with the current politics of Disney, I'm sure this show is going to be around for a while. My best wishes to you, SJ.

(And being hooked by the music selection in the commercial is the director in me shining through)
