I will be upgrading to either a 1D or a 20D before the end of the summer.

Just for the flash exposure compensation it worth to install it... the other feature is less interesting but you got it anyway !... have fun it work great.. i install it from the first week on my rebel, and will sell it with it.. ciao

What if the thread was called "Custom 300D Firmware"? This is my personal opinion, not an official SC or DPC opinion, but I believe the ToS to be referring to thing such as illegal ways to download programs like Photoshop etc without purchasing them, as thats what the term warez normally referrs to, and find it very different to the 300D custom firmware. If it were illegal, surely Canon would have done something to stop it.
