18:50 UK time I won an auction for an old SLR on ebay
18:51 emailed the seller
... a few phone calls later and...
21:30 the seller had delivered it to my house..
you can.t get much better service for that and for a pricely sum of GBP36.00
oh happy days.
(now all I need is a DSLR for the same price...)

what SLR did you get?
did you purchase from one of those eBay marketplaces?
(...i am lookin to buy an old/used SLR, thinking about the eBay option...)

Congrats Artan. Several weeks ago I got a Tamron 200-400 5.6 zoom on Ebay for $150. I used it in the bird challenge with wonderful results. Tickled pink!

well if ya find a DSLR for that price buy me one too will ya? i love ebay! sometimes i feel torn between dpc and ebay.during the day computer is on DPC and in the evenings( when hubby gets home from work) we spend another few hours on ebay...thanks to ebay i almost stay poor!
