Hi,

I'm sorry, but the Basic Editing rules are not completely clear to me.
I took a photo today that I though I could enter in the Metal challenge.
However, after getting a validation warning today on my Darkness entry I got kinda jumpy!

So here is the question:
I used Photoshop CS and the following adjustements (all on the whole crop that I would submit):
Image->Adjustment->Auto Contrast
Image->Adjustment->Levels
Image->Adjustment->Shadow/Highlight
Image->Mode->8bits/channel
Image->Mode->Convert to profile (from Adobe RGB to ColorMatch RGB)
Image->Image size

Are these allowed with Basic Editing?

Then another question is about the Metal subject:

My photo is of something that is not metal, but due to the condition of the light and my post processing as mentioned above, look 'metallic'.
How trashed will this be? ;) I'm guessing 99% 1 votes due to 'does not meet the challenge' syndrom? Or?

Thanks,
HÃ¥kon

Edit: spelling

To answer your questions... 1: those adjustments sound legal 2: probably quite trashed unless very well executed

OK, thanks, I'll just enter it in the fantasy world challenge instead as 'My metal fantasy' ;)

Edit: I really can't spell
