Question regarding the following:
Filters: Dust & Scratches filters
How does such work but not violate:
Spot-Editing: Absolutely no spot-editing is allowed.
???
For example, if I took a shot and there in the blue sky is a blotch from a particle of dust on the sensor. Can this be removed in basic challenges or no? will such a dust/scratch filter remove such?
It's just frustrating when you have a great shot and some dust particle kills your perfect blue sky. And it's a basic challenge...is there anything that can be done? |

Dust and Scratches is applied to the whole photo but it rarely works and makes the photo look like poo.

Yeah, what Ben said. It basically blurs away small contrasting areas over the whole photo, so fine dust and specks are removed... along with a lot of image detail. |
