Question regarding the following:
Filters: Dust & Scratches filters
How does such work but not violate:
Spot-Editing: Absolutely no spot-editing is allowed.
???
For example, if I took a shot and there in the blue sky is a blotch from a particle of dust on the sensor. Can this be removed in basic challenges or no? will such a dust/scratch filter remove such?
It's just frustrating when you have a great shot and some dust particle kills your perfect blue sky. And it's a basic challenge...is there anything that can be done? |

Dust and Scratches is applied to the whole photo but it rarely works and makes the photo look like poo.

| Yeah, what Ben said. It basically blurs away small contrasting areas over the whole photo, so fine dust and specks are removed... along with a lot of image detail. |
