I graduated a 6 week class today(an hour ago)at my cooking school. It's mostly entry level, cold food prep training but I taught them how to make fruit tarts this round, which was a kick-a$$ class. It's an amazing experience teaching people how to win. Most of this stuff is so easy and people put up so many mental/learning blocks and showing them how easy it is to do gives me a real charge. Here's two snaps I took of a nice Raspberry Kiwi Tart and Magnolia, proud as a Peacock with her two daughters at the post ceremony party(hmmmmm....maybe a late Bird Challenge entry??? Plenty of color but not sharp enough. 4)

I actually do live in Hells Kitchen (NYC) but if ever came in contact with that guy from the show we'd probably wind up beating the stuffing out of each other.

Well done!I know what you mean about the buzz you can get from helping people realise they really can achieve something they thought was out of their league.
Keep up the good work - but if you are going for Hell's Kitchen you've got to get the swearing perfect! :)

Don't worry...when it comes to swearing, I make Joe Pesci's character in Goodfella's look like a Girl Scout.
