No money. No pay. No direct-linking.

If you are able to view this image (The Sky's the Limit for Builders!", would a few of you record a rating as if I had made the deadline.

The picture was taken the previous month - I couldn't find the subject again for a more timely re-shoot!

After a dismal showing in two other Challenges, I really wanted to know how this would have done. Right Church, Right Pew, Wrong Service!

Thanks, K

You chose a good angle and you captured some good contrast however I think it is cropped a little too tightly on the top. I would have probably given it a 6 in the challenge.

Kathy,
I would have given it a 6/7...it's original, has pleasing lines. I would suggest a little more sky at the top.

Hope that helps

Greetings,
A helping hand, and an aid to those who hate to cut and paste,

Thank you all for taking the time to answer. Looks like I shot myself in the foot (would have been better to find that stupid truck again!)

I whipped out of traffic into a parking lot (new office building construction), because the patterns caught my eye.

I was trying to get as many shots from under the semi's flatbed as possible, before they chased me off. There was little, if any, cropping (was really working on DOF.) Thanks to a couple of comments, I'm realizing that DOF might be better if not quite so extreme. Good lessson.

And, Mike - thanks for the link lesson too! (either I was exhausted, or that is one of the hardest sites to understand!)

Again, thank you all - sure beat out my earlier scoring. That was very encouraging. Kathy
