I was just curious what you do with all those great photos you take? Shooting digital makes it easy to rack up thousands of pictures.
What do you do with them?
How many do you print?
Do you frame any?
Do you make photo albums? |

I store all mine on an external hardrive.
recently got to 3000 on my new camera but I have many from old ones too.
I print a few that are used in club compatitions, which are usually framed.
They also make great birthday presents, print a medium size image and frame it with a card frame. hey presto!

I generally shoot with the intent of displaying on the internet, and printing is only secondary - i do have dozen or so prints on my walls around the house and they're good to give people, but i'd never consider printing as a form of storage. Photo albums seem a bit of a waste of time and paper when you have all the files at your fingertips anyway. I suppose that comes from never being more than a few feet from a computer with an internet connection 24/7 though, so maybe others will disagree.

| You may want to burn them to CD or DVD if you don't have an extra drive for storage, just in case something happens to them. |

A couple of prints, some as stock photos, and others just burned on a cd.

Oh, but the really good ones, I use those as coasters to keep the watermarks off my desk.

I print maybe 5% at most. I hang maybe 1% in the Gallerage. I hang none in my house.

I'm tellin' you, coasters are the way to go!! :-D and those puppies could hold quite a few glasses... probably a whole weeks worth.
Believe me, you don't want to see my desk. :-P
