| My picture appears darker on the average computer than was edited and posted to appear on my laptop. Is there any way I am able to withdraw my entree? |

| you should be able to remove it if voting has not started yet, go to the same place you submit the photo and there should be a link to remove it. If voting has started I think your out of luck. |

| Indeed, it was my entree for the Bird Challenge, and I hadn't noticed the difference until I started receiving comments telling me my picture was too dark. Alas, I was hoping I might be able to save myself from last place. |

You can request that your entry be removed, but it will be counted as a DQ. That means, if for any reason you are DQ'd again within your next 25 entries, you may be subject to a penalty (short suspension). The logic of this system is to provide users with an avenue for a very occasional removal, while providing penalties to discourage abuse of the DQ system.
If you decide to do this, you can request an admin note on your shot, and ask for the image to be removed at your request.

You can use the "Request Admin Note" function, but since I'm aware of it, I can initiate the request. I'll do so immediately.
