The camera store where I bought my Canon Rebel XT tried to sell me a DVD for $25, - I think it reviews the features of the camera. Has anyone purchased this DVD, and if so, would you recommend it? I didn't want to spend the extra money at the time but now I'm wondering if it would be worth it. This is my first SLR so I think it may be helpful, but don't want to waste $25. thanks

No.
Read the manual. Then practice practice practice, play with your camera...digital shots are cheap... |

I don't know about that DVD, but you can go to photoworkshop.com by canon and it has a bunch of info about the camera. |
