Was lucky enough to see an Elephant today

Does this close crop work i.e. give you the impression of size?



Or is this profile better?

I like both a lot, but I like number 1 the best. I love the texture & mud-cracks on his head! Nice shots!

The first picture shows the size and mass of the elephant better.
