When I do "Save to Web" in CS, it has an annoying feature where it truncates the file names to 32 characters. With my file naming scheme, that results in name collisions. Is there a way to turn that stupid feature off? (I can't find it!) |

when you're in the save for web dialog there's this little arrow nect to where it says "preset" and the naming select box.
press that arrow, go to edit output settings and then in the second select list from the top choose "saving files"
there you have a set of all kinda stuff.
check to see if anything there can do the trick.
Never happened to me so I wouldn't know which of the options should work, but I bet it's there. |

You are a genius. :)
Yep, I found it there. I had seen mention of setting it in the preferences, but I had always been looking in the regular preferences dialog!
