Those pics are mighty huge. You may want to just post a link to them. |

No problem - I linked them for you.
To link click on the 4th square above your post [looks like the earth inside a square] and put in the link, press ok. It will ask you to name it, i.e. Seagull, RollerCoster. Click ok and your done. Hope that helps.

Congratulations!!!
I got my XT a few weeks ago - let me tell you - the pictures will only get better! They say that the camera doesnt have anything to do with the quality of the photo - I would argue that!
Check out the recent additions to my portfolio if you get a chance.

does anyone else feel that the XT doesnt seem to fit right in your hand? I dont know.. when i was buying my camera i looked at the XT thougth it was kinda compacted.. the balance was kinda off a little.. i dont know if it was just me or what not but like something about holding it just didnt seem to feel right to me.. i mean the quality of its pictures are great.. i guess for me at that time i rather passsed on it and picked up the original black rebel.. it felt better.. and it was just a starter camera anyways.. anyon here feel the same way? |

I agree. I am 6' 2" and have proportionately large hands, and the thing is just a bit too small to feel comfortable. I notice it especially with a long lens, trying to hold it steady by hand while doing a manual focus... it's actually painful to do for long.
But situations where it's really bothersome don't come up too often, and to me the ergonomic tradeoff is worth the reduction in weight.

My $0.02
Try getting the grip it makes a big difference. 2nd choice would be to use a tripod then it doesn't matter. |

My nose keeps hitting the buttons to the left of the LCD screen. Thats about the only problems Ive had so far. Oh that and changing my DOF. That is a rough manuver for me. |

only button I keep hitting is that darn timer button with my thumb, when I am holding the camera in my hand and I put my arm down to my side........ I must be hitting it then, somehow
