I am looking to buy a digital SLR and came across this from Ritz Camera. Is it a good value?

Wow, I thought a lot more people owned this camera (more like 2000+ with the 300D). Guess I was wrong...thanks.

I had that 70-300mm Quantaray Lens they are throwing in, maybe I got a bad one cause the one I had was a throw away...it's more like a 70-200mm cause beyond 200 there was little to no detail...even on a tripod and plenty of light.

Thanks for the info. I decided I am just going to wait until I have the money for a decent 300D setup.

Man.. I already helped one person with deciding on a camera tonight.. and now a second one is contemplating.

However, I no longer have the energy to try and talk someone that wants Canon over to the dark side... lol
