Wonderful job Lauriel.... I do believe that had I heard the midi (as awful as it is,,) I might have arrived at the same conclusion you did. Good lord, I am still trying to figure out how doo waaa ever became part of this equation.

Now, having heard Laurie's version.... I shall meander about aimlessly singing louie, louie... and have my neighbours look at me with that strange look they give me when I meander about ..... you know....

i jut listened to the midi and ia lso first thought of "Louie Louie" ... great job everyone :)

Mr. Holland's Opus has that song in it ... almost any marching band knows it :)

Boy From New York City was also covered by The Amazing Darts - that's the version I know.

I'd guess that the movie you're thinking that it was in was Animal House. It's all over that movie. :)
