My dad, a former professional photographer, bought me the Canon 70-200mm 2.8f L lens. Why you ask? Was it my birthday? Nope, he just bought it for me because I'm his son. What a dad!
Here is one of the first pictures I took with it. This is my boss at our softball game. No sharpening done on either photo.
This is a crop of the eye to give you an idea of the actual detail. It is amazing.

He was happy once he saw the picture... thought he looked like a badass.. by the way, he's about 5'1", so a picture where he looks tough is really an ego boost for the lil' guy. |
