I reworked this macro today, different crop and played with levels and curves a bit. Better? Worse? They both are lacking?

I think the new version is better if only for the fact that the crop in the old version is a bit too tight.

Ok, now I got it straight - I like the crop of the left side in the old version and the crop on the right side in the new version.
In the old version the crop is too tight on both sides. In the new version, a little shorter crop on the left side to get rid of the fuzzy in the lower left and not quite as much left in on the right hand side.
Great photo either way! I am jealous of all good macro shots.

Absolutely gorgeous. I like the new version with more of that flower showing. This looks special as far as macro's go. Fantastic work.

Thanks for the quick replies. I felt the first one had a tight crop also and needed more flower showing. I did not notice the blur in the new version in the lower left, thanks, I think it will improve by getting rid of it. A little off the right also to tighten it to the flower might work. Thanks again.
