What does this site have to do with DPC? All day long DPC, for me here, seems to be running slow, as in pages are hanging up during load for longer periods than usual for this connection I am using now. Then I noticed that when it was stalled, in the status bar, every time it stalls, it says "Waiting for home.cogeco.ca" and when this goes away DPC loads normally.
Anyone else experience this?
(Before you ask, no virii or other infectous/obnoxous stuff on this system.)
EDIT: Oh...oh, oh - I just had a brain storm (or maybe a brain fart...harder to tell the two apart anymore) Does someone from Canada have a pic in their sig that is located on this site? Cause if they do that might be what is hanging it up - waiting for that pic to load.

dpchallenge isnt hosted in canada...when i do a trace route it goes through cogentco.com, and according to their web site they run in the us, canada and europe. Its possible they are having trouble.

Is this happening only in the forums? If so, can you PM me links to some threads where you are having the problem?

Can't you host them on DPC in your workshop folder? That way if DPC is up and running the icons definately will be too :)

You can just upload them all in a .zip and it will extract them all automatically :)

Zip them all up and do one upload. It might take a few seconds away from pasting godzilla feet onto Bambi's head but I'm not sure I'd call it labour intensive. :P |
