Has anyone here used a 322RC2 head on a monopod as well as a tripod? I'm waiting on both and wondering whether the head will work on the monopod?

I use that head on my monopod a lot, especially when shooting sports. A lot of people don't use any head at all on their monopods. But I think you have more freedom and control using it. And less pictures with a tilted horizon. One technique is to angle the monopod about 15 degrees out in front to form a triangle with your feet, gives a little bit more stability. Make sure you adjust the grip's tension so it's not so tight that your hand will get tired and crampy.
