I also have the Tamrac Velocity 7.
For extra's it's not that great, but I typically throw a messenger bag in the car with a bunch of the extra stuff that's not needed for every shot.
Extras include Gaffer tape, sharpies, small towel, battery charger, card reader, etc. Eventually, I'll add a laptop into that bag. |

i have a backpack i bought on clearance at toys r us, and a custom made interior, total cost $20.
In it i have:
body, 50mm, 70-300, 135mm, 28-80, 18-50mm, metz54 flash, lightsphere II.
I also have all the assorted cables, manuals, memory cards, spare batts, etc.
I can get 2 battery chargers in there as well, and attach a tripod to it.
It is reaching capacity though...but i can fit a backup flash and another smallish lens and some filters no probs

I have the same one. More space than I need, but I still can't figure out the best way to use the cords on the front to properly secure my tripod.

I have the Lowepro Nova 3 AW camera bag. I suggest a larger bag. I have the following lens:
Canon 50mm f/1.8 II
Canon 17-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens Kit
Canon 70-200mm f/4.0 L
It is to small to leave the 70-200mm f/4.0 L lens attached to the camera and close. The only way to get all to fit in the bag was to divide the bag in 3 sections with the Velcro separators. One side has the camera and attached 50mm or 17-55mm lens and in the other two compartments I have 50mm lens and 70-200mm lens. The 70-200mm L is as long as the bag is tall, so it hard to fit that way. With 4 filters, small manual, and other stuff. I can not put another thing in the bag.

I have a Canon GB2400. It was 25 bucks from B&H. Very well built, and holds my rebel with my 70-300 attatched which is 4 inches long, my 18-55, my friends sigma 105 macro, and still room for filters, cleaning stuff, even the rebel manual, body and lens covers, and my tripod mount.
Its a bargain for the price.

if all you have is the camera and 3 lenses youll be fine with the lowepro microtrekker 200. thats what ive got. Right now I fit my d70, 3 lenses, and a medium format camera, film, and lots of cords etc all in there. Its stuffed and i use another small bag for my flashes, but if u dont need more room don't spend the money, unless you're gonna buy more stuff. |

I found a Promaster backpack at my local camera store. The material isn't quite as good as a LowePro, but it holds my 20D, 3 lenses, charger, 580 speedlite, plus other accessories. The really great thing about it was the price. Only $60. |

I just wanted to say thanks for posting this link Moose101 and the others who commented about it. I just ordered one of these and can't wait to get it. They had the Velocity 6 at the local Ritz so I got a good idea of the feel of it ... Now I'll be good to go for the DC GTG!! :-)
