I've been tempted to get a new Palm for many, many months, now the LifeDrive is available I think I will get one, I like the idea of being able to view images on it's screen and also to use it as an image bank by dump my memory cards into it's 4gb internal HDD.

Any thoughts?

Also by any chance does anyone know if there is any kind of PictBridge software available for Palm devices so that I can print directly to PictBridge printers?

I'm also intrigued by this mighty might of a PDA. With a Bluetooth keyboard it becomes a fairly workable computer! Now if only it could run for a week or more of heavy use on one battery charge.... Still, it just might replace my Tungsten E.

Problem is, it does not support CF that I see. Now if that were true...SWEET! I only see SD cards listed.

This is true, but I am already using one of these in my D70 :)

My initial reaction would be that a 4Gb hard drive might not be big enough and future-proof enough for dumping cards onto. What happens if you buy a 20Mp camera in a year and always use RAW mode?
Just askin'?

Two answers,

1. If I'm in a position to by a D3X in the future then I will not mind buying a 200gb Nikon Coolwalker II.

2. The 4gb drive in the LifeDrive is a microdrive, after a year I will not mind taking the thing apart and upgrading the microdrive with something larger.
