How do you all think this would have done in the naturally framed challenge? Just missed the dates for submission.

Pretty nice shot and would have done well from me...however I feel there is too much frame making the subject (buildings or the people on bridge) appear too far away. Maybe just a tad bit more some would have brought the subjects closer. Just my thoughts.

Thanks Andy, When I printed it I actually enlarged it so the castle took up more of the frame.

Just as it is, I probably would've scored it around a 7 or so. Nice photo!

At a glance the subject is much to far away. Already said, but definetly crop out much of the frame to make the castles more prominent. Honestly would have given this a five. A six or possible seven with the different crop.

I like it. I may have not used the bottom bushes, just the water on the bottom. The side trees have a much better focus and clarity, the out of focus bottom bushes detracts somewhat. Good job.

Thanks Don and David. Funny, one of the editors I sumitted this to loved the foreground. One hated it. One liked the castle being so far away and one like it close up. Just never can tell what people will or will not like. Thanks for your comments

You got it, I still can't figure it out. Just look at some of the hi scores and you'll find photos that normally would be complete rejects and other that score middle to low and are great pics. Some of my best scored worst and some of my oh well why not have done well. Take all the suggestions as just suggestions and learn just a little from each of them. Good job.

I think that this would have done very well!!! My entry is avg around 6.6 and your picture is way better!
