| I just got the Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II lens, and was taking some flower shots. I sorta liked this one, and wanted to see if anyone agreed. You can find the picture on the front page of my web site: //www.thomashodder.com |

yeah i like it to. its nice how u can still see the red of the two other flowers but very blurred. very nice.

DOF is good and composition is good. However, the flower is a bit overexposed so you have lost the detail in the white. You might try reshooting using about a -.7 or -1 compensation. I think you will like even better.
