Can't use this for the current challenge because it was taken two weeks too early. (Would love to know what ratings I would have garnered.) I would appreciate some input on it. . . especially in light of the recent USM discussion on another thread.

Yes. Those are the eggs.
The bird is a Killdeer. Knew the eggs were somewhere around because the bird started to feign an injury. I found them and he came back to do some serious work. He finally settled down but spread his tail featehers the closer I got. Pretty sure it is a male but would not put money on it. |
