I was out at a sculpture park today taking shots for a photo contest. I couldn't recall if we had just finished submissions for framed, or if it was the new challenge. I took this shot of my friend and now I do wonder what you think about it and how it might have done in the challenge?

I think in the challenge, you would take hits for the subject (your friend) not being prominent enough, and some may not consider it "naturally framed". You never know where it would have placed, but I would imagine the comments would hit on the points above.

I like this pic. The only thing that would bug me would be the pond weed, but that's hardly your fault. I have seen worse pics in the challenge for framing though. I think I would have given it at least a 6 if not a 7, just because I like the pic myself. I might have cropped it a bit to make sure the item framing your friend was more prominent, but other than that, I like it.
