hello, long time no see. i just have a quick question. for the price of around 250$, could someone suggest a few different digital cameras? i've been out of the loop quit a while, and could use the help, thanks.

In a similar vein; my best friend wants to buy his wife a "point and shoot" digital, but with high enough quality that she can get decent ink-jet prints. I am only familiar with my F707, and have no idea what he should look for. He says my F707 "has way too much stuff" on it for her. Any help greatly appreciated !!

I've been very happy with my Sony DSC-P50. I think it's down to about $250 now.

You need to go to //www.imaging-resource.com/WB/WB.HTM and other site like this.
What is good for me may not be good for you.
(I got me a p-50 for 150.00 at ebay) know what your looking for and what it is priced at retail.
If you pay more than 50% of the retail, buy it at retail. And only buy with people with lots of good response.
