I was going to submit this but desided not to, I think it would have gotten around 5.5 to 5.8...what do you think??

It's not bad. I really like the colors. 5.5-5.8 sounds about right, but it could be lower if the voters take off a lot of points for the bridge not being "natural".

Hi Justin. This is a good shot but I think that to score really well in this challenge the 'frame' will have to accentuate the shot - here I feel I want to see more what's behind. Ben

I'm not sure about it. I'm going to be looking for things inside the frame that are interesting, as much or more than the frame itself.

I walked around for a few days and found lots of natural frames but with nothing spectacular or interesting inside them.

Im glad I didn't enter it then :)

It looks pretty cool, but it seems just a bit overdone. The colors seem almost too blown out.

Having said that, I think I would have given it a 6.

please explain to me why people are always saying i took this shot-it fits the challenge -it would have scored this number -but i chose not to submit it...why is this????

if you took the time to take a shot to meet the challengfe why not hit the submit button...also how do you know what it will recieve????

thats not so bad guessing on wht you might recieve but people that get annoyed at scores feeling they deserved at least a certain score confuses me...

anyone understand where im comming from????

why not enter it and get feedback anyway....you never know what tid bit of info you may walk away with that is valuable....everytime i take a photo now i hear the thousands of little dpc'er voices screaming in my head...its kind of cool....

there is no such thing as perfection...its not like it was a disasterous photo you took it was quite nice...im not trying to be mean and i hope i dont come off that way...its just that i hear it so much around here...

Your not coming off as mean so no worries there ;).... I know there is no such thing as perfection and for me it was an "OK" photo...sometimes I submit "OK" photos but sometimes I don't....when I don't I post them here to get the feedback....

Agree, so many are not submitting because they are not sure. What the heck, I don't remember anything about the best really getting an actual ribon, cash, prize or having them framed and put on exhibition at the Smithsonian. Now, some really don't need to be submitted, we've all taken those bad ones, but why not give it a try, really nothing gained or lost by tryin'.

I left a comment. I would guess 6.014. Because I am difficult voter and would have still given it a 6.

I don't think it's "framed" enough..would have probably given it a 4-5

I almost submitted this one........then I took a long drive :)

I love the definite expression of the model. Says "Cheesed Off!"

Please don't tell me that this is going to be the hot topic..it is framed naturally but is not natural as it is not nature or ahhhh..this part of the site is just way too petty and boring for me..thhen it can extend to a flower in the garden not being natural because it was planted...sorry...just saw this and it triggered something in me..
nice shot, i like the frame
