I was able to break the code on the chromakey and start to get some usable results...

I was very afraid that would have to reshoot these but it is working out well.

The model is a plus-size girl that has been in a couple of catalogs.

Would love to hear comments.

looks very professional! little typo though on "height," might want to fix that. looks good, glad you got that chromakey working for you

Thanks --- been a long couple of days !

The key is that I found a old copy of Ultimatte AdvantEdge (a version 1.0) on a old computer that I got used.

That version will only run on PS 5.5 so it made the workflow kinda nutty going between the 2 computers ... but it is working so I am happy

I like them in general and the comp set up looks good.
I don't like the arm pits visable.
Not the most attractive feature on most folks small or large. :)
It's been interesting hearing about your chromakey adventures.

Would love to try the chromakey... Beautiful photos... the only thing I would mention is that she seems to have the same expression in all of the shots...

The adventures in chromakey have been shall we say, "interesting".

Software does indeed make the difference. Ultimatte simply did a way better job at dealing with spill than did Primatte. (and I spent half a grand on Primatte). Even running Ultimatte 1.0 with PS5.5 it wasn't even close.

I still have a learning curve with Ultimatte and when I get paid on this project I will go ahead and get the latest and greatest.

One thing that I did notice is that you have to be very careful of the "garbage" noise that is left after Ultimatte runs If you do not clean you mask correctly... can be very ugly !

all and all I think that I may be on board for the long haul with the chromakey if I can find more cool backdrops outside of the "standard" stuff that are on the Owens cds

Beautiful work, and the comp card looks very professional. The only thing I don't care for is that her head is tilted in the same direction in all of them. Perhaps "flipping" one of the photos so that her head tilts in the opposite direction would add another "dimension" to the comp card.

I would prefer to see different looks on this comp card. Her hair and facial expressions are all too similar. They should be four different looks. Just my humble opinion..as a former small-time model ; )
