I do all my work on my laptop, monitor cal. to Photoshop. My computer in my office isn't. The below shot looks good on the lap top, but on the other it has heavy contrast, the bushes behind the rock is dark, the green real heavy contrast. Please take a look and let me now how the colors and the contrast, light/dark this shot is.....Thanks a bunch..ace

I'm viewing it on a Sony E500, which is software-calibrated only, but which I trust to a reasonable degree. It looks pretty good, the contrast is not "over the top", and there is a good balance of light/dark. There are no blown areas except the blue channel in a few small areas on the rocks/water, and this seems OK. There are literally no areas where shadow detail is lost. Color balance is OK, saturation on the greens maybe a little high but subject to personal preference.

Cool, I need to calibrate the monitor. There was a thread a while back on to calibrate your monitor, I believe it was out of my favorite titled books, “How to for Dummies“. I can’t find it. If some one comes across it could they post it hereâ€Â¦.Thanks for the Help..... â€Â¦..ace
