Former National Geographic photog now working independently on various wildlife preservation projects, Jim Brandenburg extols the virtues of switching to digital photography in this interview.

Of some interest to those here who have been pursuing a photo-a-day plan; a couple years back, Jim produced a book "Chased By The Light" featuring 90 shots from 90 consecutive days during which time he clicked the shutter one (and only one) time each day, while cloistered on his woodland property in Minnesota. An amazing commitment with an outstanding result.
