As many of you know, the DPC community recently lost one of our members. SamT passed away on May 28, 2005 after a brief illness.
He is survived by two DPChallenge members: his daughter, Sammie, and his wife, June (Tressider). Sammie has been generous enough to share with us how much her father loved participating at DPC and how it ignited in him a new passion for photography.
Sam contributed many photos of his Montana surroundings to DPC. His coffin was even chosen because it contained similar imagery to many of his photos, including Parker Homestead, his highest-rated contribution to the site.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to SamT's family.

Thanks for that announcement muckpond. We first learned of SamT's passing in this thread started by Sammie a few days ago.
Thanks for ribbon & comments - also sad news.
