Off the top of my head here are a few, uk: changing room, usa: trading spaces, uk: the office, usa: the office, uk: coupling, usa: coupling, uk: pop idol, usa: american idol... etc I love the BBC and the original shows are much better than the americanized versions. So if you want to see the real Gordon Ramsey, check out BBC America on your cable or satellite tv. |
Didn't "Who's Line Is It Anyway" originate in the UK also.

Let's hope that this version of the show isn't as stupid as the American Office, which didn't even live up to a tenth of the original British Office....shame, shame. I wish they had made more episodes of the Office, I own both seasons on dvd and I want more!

Screaming and yelling, ranting and raving -- those of signs of being completely out of control, not in control. Maybe he can throw together a good meal, but if he resorts to verbal abuse he is in no way competent at leading anything -- or to be depended upon to produce anything as far as I'm concerned.
I've worked for a few that are so far out of control they start steaming and hurling insults. At first I was just embarassed for them -- but anymore it's far too hard to keep from laughing at how pathetic they're acting.
Tolerating temper tantrums is bad enough, but rewarding it should be criminal. It does nothing but tear down the social inter-workings of any organization it occurs in. It's just sad and pathetic.

Shoot, I told my wife it would be fun to be on Hell's Kitchen. He's there to make them top chefs...get some thick skin, shut up, and listen to him.

I'm actually waiting for a 'top model' spin-off for photographers. I'd like to see some jackass breaking cameras and ripping prints in half. |

OMP has been plugging a show they are associated with "Shut Up & Model". I believe it is a competition for both photog's and models.

Yeah the people ordering pizza was awesome. Then the on guy getting kicked out by trying to fight the Matre D (however you spell it). These customers have to know what is going on. Very interesting last night. I will have to atch next weeks show when I get back from vacation though. Thank god for PVR.
