I am not trying to complain or anything but I have a simple request. Can we have some more specific challenges? I mean I'm all for things like "decisions", but I would like to see things that are more along the lines of real photography making snapshots less likely to appear. I am not sure what would be a good challenge, mabey something like a free study or something tangable like "landscapes" or "children" something that everyone has access to and is a tangable object.

like I said, I'm not one to complain and I don't want to cause a fight I just am getting kind of annoyed with all of these vaque untangable challenge topics.

Best way to ensure some challenge topics that you like is to put forward some concrete suggestions yourself.

Best bet is to think of some challenge titles AND descriptions and post them in the Challenge Suggestions forum for feedback.

Final versions will usually be added to the suggestions database and will likely appear sometime in the not too distant future.

no "blue car" challenge. that is very vaque. something more along the lines of tangable items that are artistic in nature.

If not something like that then something Like, a challenge that focuses on one basic element of good composition. mabey something like "repitition" or "rule of thirds". that way if it has to be vaque it can teach those who enter how to make better compostions on their shots for the vaque challenges.

ok I can do that. The reason why I haven't done that before is I read the challenge suggestion forum and I rarely see anything posted there actuly become a challenge

I like the open scope challenges as it allows for some degree of creativity. I think the decisions challenge was a good one...it's difficult to creatively shoot something so abstract but it's fun to try.

Pretty much all if not every challenge comes from a user suggestion. The turnaround time may not be immediate. The best way to ensure that your challenge is used is to include a description with it.
