I almost had this as my beauty entry, but I changed it at the last minute. Unfortunately, I'm doing terribly. My worst score yet. How would you have voted this, just out of curiosity? I figured everyone thinks butterflies are beautiful, and this is how they begin..

I can see where you are coming from,I would have given this 5 or 6.
A technically decent and pleasing shot. Hope your entry improves,

| I to would have given it a 6, I do think its a great shot, and mine is also scoring low to,,but I am still happy with what I entered. I just cant please everyone I guess,, although I did try lol. |

Would have been a 7 or higher from me but then I love the contrast between vivid colours and the almost desaturated nature of the tree bark and also the shallow DOF. Composition doesn't quite work for me but... all in all an image I like a lot.

| Thanks for the feedback. I wish I would have gone with this one. I'm just really not happy with my entry at all. Oh well! I guess I'll learn from it. :) |
