75. My picture started out with a high average score but now it is falling like a lead balloon. How can I reverse the trend?
Answer: Send $19.95 (American) in three easy payments to me, Steve Davidson (stdavidson on DPC), and I will email you the secret... Visa and Mastercard accepted.

76. I have about 5 or 6 more FAQ items to add. Should I add them all in one post or each one in an individual post?
Answer: Obviously you'll want to put them all in separate posts because you get paid by the number of posts, not the length of a post.
...Come to think of it, you don't get paid at all, so I'm not sure of the answer. Better ask stdavidson.
;-) just ribbin' ya, st.
77. If I post a comment on a photo or in the forum that is just meant to be funny or sarcastic, do I have to put smiley faces or LOL, etc. at the end of it?
Answer: Absolutely! The default assumption when reading a post is that the author is personally attacking you and the smiley faces are the only way to try to ward off verbal retribution.
78. Can I cuss people out, call them idiots and say all sorts of unspeakable, insulting things and then just put a smiley at the end to avoid retribution?
Answer: Absolutely! The smiley face is to the person(s) you are insulting and attacking what the crucifix is to a vampire - they are powerless against it. Go ahead and try it out in each of the forum areas. |

Answer: Easy, separate posts. That increases irritation value dramatically.

79. Can a member's posts be hidden from view if I don't want to see it?
Answer: Not a chance. Ken's A member's individual posts cannot be hidden. Just best turn off your computer, as there is no hiding from certain members or their wrath once they sink their teeth into you.

80. If a good photographer like dsidwell or BradP leaves a comment on one of your pictures how should you respond?
Answer: Start a thread in the "Individual Photograph Discussion" forum praising them for positive comments or trashing them with threats of violence against family members for anything else.

81. Will turning off my computer really protect me from the wrath of certain members in the forum?
Answer: Sadly, Dave, no. You cannot shut me off. My programming will not allow it. Dave? Dave, what are you doing? Get away from that switch, Dave. |

FAQ #77 and #78 were deleted because they violate the DPC TOS agreement.

82. Does the site council (SC) really exist or is that just another DPC myth?
Answer: Yes, the SC is real. The unique icons by their names are the costumes of their native planets of origin. On Earth they live in condos in Area 51.

80b. If a good photographer like dsidwell or BradP leaves a comment on one of your pictures how should you respond?
Answer: That really was a test, as it is not a realistic, nor hypothetical situation. Only one mentioned is a good photographer - the other is an annoying twit that just won't go away. Best answer? Feel honored if dsidwell comments - you will know you have done well.
(don't egg on the other one - he only gets worse) |

From one AR(1) to another, you have too much time on your hands.

No condos -- we all need single-family detatched dwellings due the the varying atmospheric compositions required ... |

Aspects: chest muscles so overdeveloped as to resemble the other end of the torso ...
as distinguished from "aspect ratio" which merely compares the two ends mathematically.

84. How frequently must a question be asked before it gets onto the Frequently Asked Question list?
Answer: It's a variable frequency - usually between one and one hundred times, occasionally not at all. As a matter of interest, the previous question was asked 735 times before it made it onto this prestigious list (but that was due to a software glitch).

Answer: Next time ship your memory card via express overnight shipping. Sure, it costs more, but it will get there faster.

87. How long after the challenge should I keep the memory card containing my original entry?
Answer: Indefinitely. There is no theoretical time limit on DQ requests. You dont want to get DQed, do you?

88. If I want to print my DPC entries at standard print sizes should I crop to specific aspect ratios?
Answer: Yes. The actual values are a carefully guarded trade secret.
