Sorry that's all I've got to go on! I'm trying to use a .cmd file to run a batch process that converts .avi files to .rm files.

Yeah, here's how to convert one file type to another:
Say I want to rename all my .jpg files to .bmp. I simply create a text file with this text:
ren *.jpg *.bmp
I then save the text file as a .bat file(for example, save it as "test.bat"). I then double-click on the .bat file in the same folder as my files I want to convert, and the conversion is done.
Let me know if you need more help. That info above is to rename the files. If you need to convert them to a different type, I have no idea.

| Have you set your path to see the "producer" program, or is producer in your current folder? |

Renaming them won't work. Renaming a $5 bill to a $10 bill doesn't make it worth $10 in a shop. I need to use the producer program to conver the file format. The directory to the producer program is correct but it doesnt seem to recognise the command?

YEah. that's the issue. "producer" is not in the folder you're in, or it's not in your PATHs. Sorry, I didn't read the whole post thoroughly. My other example won't do anything that you're looking for. :)

YEAH. I know. SOrry. Didn't realize what you were trying to do.
WHERE is the Producer.exe file?? DO a search for it. If you find it, open a cmd window to the path of the producer.exe and then try the "producer" command.
Also, what is your K:\ directory? Your producer is probably under C:\ judging from your screenshot. In command prompt, try typing "cd c:\producer" and then type "producer". You should get some sort of response.

You're "producer -i" command must be run from your c:\producer directory.
Type "set path=c:\producer;%PATH%" in the command prompt and hit enter.
Then you should be able to type "producer" from anywhere in the C:\ directory and it should work. |

You can then type this command, as long as your producer is running from where you are:
producer -i "clarinet5.avi" -a "ICanPlayIt" -c "ICanPlayIt" -o "clarinet5.avi.rm" -ad "c\producer\audiences\384k DLS or Cable.rapd -am voice -rs 445x356
Note though that the file you want to convert must also be present in your c:\producer directory. Judging from your string above, it looks like the original input file is named "clarinet5.avi", so that file should be in the directory where you're running producer. When it's converted, the output file will be called "clarinet4.avi.rm", must likely, judging from your screenshot. So if the command goes through, your new rm file will be in the directory you're in.
Hope this helps.
