Okay, I know this looks a lot like another image someone else did, but while I was visiting my grand-daughter yesterday, I couldn't resist the opportunity to lead her to the water puddle, and teach her some of the wonderful things in life that parents just don't teach! Here's the results...a smiling face, and no harm done!

Thanks. Simple little smiles from such simple things as connecting with nature, in whatever form.

That's a thousand word smile.
It's really good for kids to have grandparents around to teach them the important things that parents are too busy to be bothered with.

what a great photo of pure joy! thank you for shareing this.i must be one of the odd parents because in the summer after a good storm i take my girls out to do this very thing.i have never thought to take my camera tho. we have such a blast( yes,i jump in them too) i also take them out at night in the winter to play in the snow...this is just two of our fav things to do. i grew up with a step mother who thought it was against the law to get dirty or have any real innocent fun so i have made sure that my girls get to do the things i was never allowed and most importantly have fun!( with me of course :o)
