He's still welcome to the 14" monitor, though I see there are some better "offers" on the plate. And you might want to check out "Freecycle". I just joined the Albany chapter (surprised to see one local here!)

I have a 17" samsung 1024x768 or a hp trinitron 20" but you'd have to come get it. Shipping either from canada would be to high in cost BUT the road trip would be priceless.

I'm leaving friday after work to go to Houghton Lake for the weekend and won't be back until Monday.
I don't have anything going on tonight if you can do it! If not
tonight then it will have to wait until after the Holiday. I work in Ann Arbor and I get out a work at 3:15. I'm usually home between
4:00 and 4:15 any time between then and about 8pm, as I have to put
my daughter to bed.

Count me in to pay a part of the shipping. 10$ at least. When you know the shipping price just email me and I'll transfer it. Keep us informed of the situation.

Although I live almout in the other side of the world, in Portugal, let me say I feel grat when I see such actions and stiking togheter for the comunity.

I see monitors at yard and garage sales all the time. 15" ones go for uner $10, often FREE.
i see them put out for the trash too - again, free. Have yet to find one that does not work.

Well, Gene picked up the monitor that I gave him last night, so we
can hope to hear from him soon!
