Thank you all, hope I did not break any rules.

I did not correct the horizon, in basic, I thought it constituted moving a major object. Maybe I am wrong.

How I did this was: Firstly, it was the first sunny day we had in a while. I was busy practicing with catching things in motion. The sun was about to set, and I thought it would be neat to get a sea gull to fly off with an apple and capture that. So off I raced to a grocery store to get some smallish apples. Well they were biggish apples.

Secondly, seagulls are horrible models. They fight continuously when there is something they can pick up and just poke at things they cannot. I have plenty of photos of seagulls fighting over apple pieces(I cracked the apples against concrete blocks eventually) or poking at the apple.

Neat idea and it paid off, well done.

Had you rotated to level the horizon, the bird would have been flying in a downward direction instead of level flight, which I think would have changed the tone of the image. The uneven horizon, on the otherhand, gave me a sense of being either in a boat or standing slightly off balance as one does at times when walking the beach or pier. I felt the shot worked well.

That was an excellent shot. It deserved a ribbon.

I think leveling a slightly tilted horizon is legal. I often do fine adjustments to horizon in PSP, works well. But if you made a BIG adjustment you'd be at risk of moving major elements. How much is too much is a decision for SC.

Fortunately your shot looks fine with the horizon the way it is.
