!!!Bunny didn't Make it warning on link!!!

It would seem that this birding in our backyard at work is a little more complicated than I thought. Me and Buddy go out back and shoot the local birds, we have been following what we thought was the Same White Tailed kite that flys by everyday...until he posted This One on pbase and a lady informed him that it is actually a Northern Harrier...is that correct?

He shot this on a monopod with his Bigma on the Minolta 7D.

It would seem the commenter is right about the red eyes at least.

I would highly recommend getting a book if you're going to id'ing birds regularly - I got one for a few quid off eBay and it's been invaluable.
